As Owner and Principal of Midwest Engineering Group, Daniel Coltrane has 30+ years of consulting experience. Danny oversees all design work including land surveying and civil engineering. His experience spans water and wastewater projects, plat and plan reviews, mapping, hydraulic modeling, oil and gas pipelines, road and transportation, land development and right-of-way acquisition, construction services, GIS, and studies.

Danny works primarily with municipalities and quasi-municipalities. He understands regulators and funding administrator operations with experiences from a variety of funding agencies/sources, both private and public. As former mayor of a small city, he is uniquely qualified to address the needs of municipalities. His past projects encompass all facets of engineering for cities with a multi-discipline approach to his design of water distribution systems and storage facilities, booster stations, chlorination facilities, control systems and treatment for public potable water systems. Danny is a licensed professional engineer in KS, MO and OK, and is a member of the ACI.
