Project Engineer

Muhammad brings over 8 years of experience in construction management and geotechnical engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure in Kansas and Missouri. As a Project Engineer, he supports municipal, commercial, and industrial clients by managing technical performance, performing engineering analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance with ACI, AISC, ASTM, and federal environmental standards.

Prior to joining Midwest Engineering, Muhammad served as State Engineer for USDA Rural Development, where he oversaw infrastructure project execution from planning through closeout. His work included reviewing engineering reports, contracts, specifications, and plans, conducting site inspections, and ensuring environmental compliance under NEPA, Clean Water Act, and other statutes. He collaborated closely with consulting engineers, contractors, and government agencies to ensure cost-effective and sustainable outcomes.

Muhammad’s field experience includes special inspection roles on complex, large-scale projects such as the Lansing Correctional Facility Extension, Lake Winnebago Dam, Kansas City International Airport, and Rock Creek Wind Farm. He has a strong background in soil mechanics, ROW verification, risk management, and contractor coordination, and is proficient in tools such as gINT, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Procore.
